Everyday Eye Makeup

This is my everyday eye makeup that I wear.  It's very simple and it only takes about 5 minutes to do.  If I don't have a lot of time, I skip the eyeliner and opt for the eyeshadow and mascara instead, when I skip the eyeliner it only takes about 2 minutes to do.

  1. Start by priming the eye (I used Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion) but you can use concealer instead.
  2. On an eyeshadow brush, apply M.A.C.'s eyeshadow Crystal Avalanche all over the eye lid, brow bone, and a little on the inner corner.
  3. Next, take a contour brush and swirl it around in M.A.C.'s eyeshadow Handwritten, putting this only in the outside corner crease of the eye.
  4. Take the M.A.C. 217 blending brush and blend this out into the crease of the eye.  Make sure that the outer corner is where the eyeshadow is heaviest and then gradually fades as it gets into the inner crease of the eye.
  5. Line the eyes with black eyeliner.
  6. Lastly, apply mascara.  I used two different kinds because it helps make the eyelashes look fuller and longer.

Homemade (kind of) wreath

I bought a wreath at Family Dollar for $6, however, after buying it I realized that it was super ugly.  Instead of throwing the heinous thing away, I removed a majority of what was on the wreath and inserted the leaves, pumpkins, and pinecones that I bought at Hobby Lobby. All together the wreath cost me about $12. Which is much better than the $50 ones and it's exactly how I wanted it to look.
